Sub-brands and Categories

Daraz encompasses a number of sub-brands and categories. Sub-brands have their own unique lockups and rules around colour usage. This ensures the sub-brands are distinctive, while remaining harmonious with the Daraz master brand. Categories use master brand colour rules but have their own unique lockups.

Daraz Mall mark

Our Daraz Mall mark combines the Daraz wordmark with ‘Mall’ in the same weight. This wordmark is used across Daraz Mart communications and the Daraz Mart section of the website and app.

Daraz Mall label

Our Daraz Mall mark also sits within a graphic container to create our Daraz Mall Label. The label also has a clearspace to ensure legibility.

This label is used to mark products that belong to the Daraz Mall section of the platform. It is a seal of trust and brand legitimacy.

When shoppers see the label, they know that those items have been verified by Daraz to be of the highest quality.

Daraz Mall colours

To create a more distinct space for Daraz Mall within our platform, the
sub-brand uses a smaller selection of colours that come from the
larger Daraz palette.

Dark Blue #3F0686
Teal #9BFFFA
Orange #F85606

Our Daraz Mall mark can be set in these colours in three different ways. On white, against light blue or against dark blue.

Partnerships lockups

Our Daraz Mart and Daraz Mall wordmarks are often locked up with other logos. These lockups should follow clear space rules and we should ensure that the partner logo should never be bigger than our logo.

Categories lockups

Our Daraz categories lockups are used to identify segments of the brand that are not Daraz Mall and Daraz Mart. This can refer to categories such as Daraz Fashion, Daraz Express, Daraz Bills etc.

These lockups are to be used when calling out a specific category in communications. These lockups should not be used within the app itself.

The clearspace for these lockups should always be the width of the box logo.

Daraz Fashion

As Daraz Fashion is not a sub-brand but a category, we use the same lockup style as the category lockups - see below. This wordmark is used across Daraz Fashion communications outside of the app only. The Daraz Fashion lockup should not be used on the app.

Daraz Fashion colours

The Daraz fashion mark primarily appears in white or maroon, especially with photography.

For coloured backgrounds, we use tinted versions of our brand colours to create a more subtle aesthetic for the fashion category. Text and logos appear always in non-tinted version of the same colour.

White #FFFFFF
Purple #440529
Orange #FFF1EB
Light Blue #E7FFFD
Pink #FFEDFF
Green #CCE5E0
Orange #F85606
Dark Blue #3F0686
Pink #FFA7FF
Green #007C65

Our Logo can appear in purple on a tinted background or in the non-tinted version of the same brand colour - creating a duo tone effect.

Daraz Fashion application

Daraz fashion is primarily led by product and studio photography. Therefore, we want our products and fashion photography to be the hero in a given communication. Use the lighter weights of our Daraz typeface to give a more sophisticated and subtle aesthetic. Reduce the use of graphic shapes when working on Daraz fashion communications.

Select tint colours that are harmonious with product colours to help create a distinct fashion aesthetic that feels different from the core Daraz brand.

Daraz Pay

As Daraz Pay is not a sub-brand but a category, we use the same lockup style as the category lockups - see below. This wordmark is used across Daraz Pay communications. The Daraz Pay lockup should not be used on the app.

Daraz Pay colours

Our Daraz Pay communications use green, blue and white to give a sense of simplicity and maturity. The use of blue draws on traditional colour cues from the finance sector.

White #FFFFFF
Dark Green #007C65
Light Blue #C2FFFA

Our Daraz Bills mark can be set in these colours. We can also use our Brand orange at any time with our Category logos.
